1. I can't play back my Blu-ray disc smoothly. What can I do?
Cause:
1. Your graphics card driver is too old
2. It is the PowerDVD program bug.
Solution:
1. Please update your graphics card driver.
lease update PowerDVD to the latest version.
2. Please click here to upgrade your PowerDVD to the latest version.

(3) The audio setting under PowerDVD.
Please provide the setting of Speaker environment and Output mode.
a. You can get the setting by below steps.
Click on the button to open the configuration window, then click Audio tab.
b. If you are using AV receiver as audio decoder, please provide the Model name to us.
2. When I install PowerDVD 9, I receive the following error message: Error 1904. Module failed to register?
Cause:
Microsoft Windows Installer (MSI) is damaged.
Solution:
1. Click here to download MSI Installer 4.5 and then install it.
Tips: Click here to download MSI Installer 4.5 update file and then install it. (Windows XP 32/64 bit and Vista 32/64 bit)
2. Restart your computer.
3. Install the CyberLink PowerDVD 9 program.
If you still encounter the same issue, please take a screen shot of the error message, and then send it to CyberLink Customer Support.
PS: The steps to capture a screen shot.
1. Press the Print Screen key on your keyboard when the error appears on your screen.
2. Click on Start -> Programs-> Accessories-> Paint.
3. Paste the screen capture there by pressing Ctrl+V
4. Save the file with the extension name .jpg and then send to CyberLink Support for analysis.

3. How do I enable the NVIDIA CUDA within CyberLink PowerDVD 9?
To enable NVIDIA CUDA in CyberLink PowerDVD 9 you must first make sure your video card supports CUDA technology and that you have applied the CUDA update for PowerDVD 9. Once you have confirmed this, follow the steps below:

Enable NVIDIA CUDA by performing the following steps.
(a) Click on the button to open the settings window.
(b) Select the Video tab.
(c) Click TrueTheater HD and Enable NVIDIA CUDA.
4. How can I adjust PowerDVD's audio settings?
To access the audio settings, you first need to enter the PowerDVD configuration menu. You can do that by pressing "Ctrl-C" or by clicking on the Configuration button on the User Interface. In the Configuration menu, select the "Audio" tab.
The audio options available to your will depend on the capabilities of your version of the software, your sound card, and the type of media you are viewing. Not all options are available in all instances. To optimize the settings for a specific movie or other multimedia file, I suggest to begin playing the file (and even skip ahead a few chapters) before opening the audio configuration menu.
By doing this, when you make changes, you will be able to preview them and compare them to other settings.
5. There is no audio when playing the Blu-ray Disc titles.
Issue
Can't hear any sound during Blu-ray Disc playback.
Cause
- The volume is set too low or muted.
- The speaker line is not plugged into the right Audio Out connector.
- The sound card driver is too old.
- You may have set the output mode to digital (S/P DIF) mode.
Solution
- Check the Master Volume by double-clicking the speaker icon in the system tray. If the Mute check box for Master Volume or Wave is checked, please uncheck it.
- Make sure your speakers are powered on with appropriate volume. Check if the speakers' audio line is correctly connected to the speaker out or audio out hole. The color of the hole should be light green.
- Update your sound card driver. Please visit the Web site of your sound card manufacturer and download the latest driver for your sound card.
- Use the configuration tool come with your sound card and switch off the S/P DIF output option if you intend to output the sound via a normal speaker. Similarly, if you intend to output the sound to an amplifier, please be sure to switch the output to digital (S/P DIF) mode.
