What's PowerDVD? |

How do I ensure my computer meets the system requirements? |
You will have to check the system requirements for each individual
program and then match it with your computer.
To check the current status of your computers, right-click the
'My Computer' icon on your desktop and choose 'Properties' - this
will open a window called 'System Properties'. In this window, two
tabs are of interest; 'General' and 'Hardware'.
The 'General' tab provides information about your 'System' and
'Computer'. In the latter you will be able to your CPU speed and
how much RAM you have.
On the 'Hardware' tab you will need to click the 'Device Manager'
to see how each device in functioning. You may have to click on
the '+' to escalate the folder you need to view. i.e. 'DVD/CD-ROM
driver' will give you name name of the device and by right-clicking
the device you can see if it is working properly.

How do I order a PowerDVD? |
| You can purchase one online by any of a valid credit card and you
will be able to download the software within minutes. In addition,
you may opt to get physical cd send to you as well or our extended
download period. The latter lets you re-download the software numorous
times with a year after original purchase. |

How do I check my current version before upgrading? |
| This can be done in two ways. The easiest is to click our logo within
the program or go to the 'About' link in the help file. |

How to register my PowerDVD? |
After you startup PowerDVD, a registration window opens, prompting
you to register your product. It is important to register your software
for receiving technical support or other information or activating
the CLVS audio option.
To register it, follow these steps:
1. Enter your personal information in the First Name, Last Name, and
Email entry boxes. And check one or both of the options to receive
information from CyberLink, or uncheck if you don't wish to receive
this information.
2. Click Register Now.
Click " I Have Already Registered", if you have previously
registered this product. Then the registration box will no longer
open when you run the program.
Click" Remind Me Later", if you would like to register this
product at a later time. The registration box will open each time
you run the program until you register. |

How to upgrade my PowerDVD? |
To use this feature you must be connected to the Internet.
Follow this to upgrade your software:
1. You can Open the upgrade Information dialog box by the following
methods:
Click " " next to the Control Wheel.
Press F3.
Click " " ( Configration ), then click Upgrade to open a
window displaying the available options.
2. Click the feature set you would like to upgrade to.
3. A web brower window opens, in which you can order product upgrades
and enhancements. |

How to activate my PowerDVD's new Features?

When you're the first time to run PowerDVD, you are prompted to
upgrade immediately from the trial version to the version you have
purchased.
1. Open PowerDVD.
2. The Upgrade Information dialog box opens, you can also display
this dialog box by click " " ( configration ), then activate.
3. Enter your activation key ( you can copy and paste your activation
key into the first entry box. ), then click OK. |

How to uninstall PowerDVD? |
You can uninstall PowerDVD from either Windows Start Menu or the
Windows Control Panel.
1. Click " Start">- " Programs" >- "
PowerDVD" >- "Uninstall PowerDVD", the uninstall
wizard runs. Then you can follow the uninstall wizard to remove the
program. |
| 2. Click " Start" >- " Control Panel", and
double- click " Add or Remove programs". Select PowerDVD,
then click Change/ Remove. The PowerDVD will automatically be removed. |
