How to Watch DVDs on TV

Now $99.95

Can I watch DVDs on my TV with the TV-out function from my video card?

In general you should be able to do this, but it is dependant on the following:

  • First of all, your video card on your PC must support the TV-out function.
Your PC must have a S-Video out or an analog plug similar to what is found on a standalone VCR or DVD player.
  • Normally you will find a red, white and yellow combo on the back of these appliances. Red and white are for left and right sound, and the yellow one is for video. Just connect the yellow one.
  • Before starting connecting your PC to your TV, ensure that they are turned off
  • Start you PC first and change the screen resolution to 640*480 which is the normal setting for most TV.
  • Turn on your TV and the setup should be done.
